Precise Travel – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of chauffeuring, transportation, and related services by Precise Travel to you By making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Licensing & Legal Compliance

1.1. Precise Travel operates as a licensed UK Private Hire Operator in accordance with the regulations of the relevant local licensing authority.
1.2. All vehicles are licensed private hire vehicles, fully insured for hire and reward.
1.3. All chauffeurs hold valid UK Private Hire Driver Licences, have passed enhanced DBS checks, and comply with all licensing requirements including regular medicals and driving standards.
1.4. Bookings must be pre-booked in advance. In accordance with UK law, we do not accept street hails.

2. Services Provided

2.1. Precise Travel provides premium Mercedes V-Class chauffeuring, airport transfers, and other pre-booked transportation services.
2.2. All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability at the time of booking.

3. Bookings

3.1. Bookings can be made via our website, email, telephone, or through authorised booking partners.
3.2. A booking is confirmed only once written confirmation (email, text, or booking receipt) has been issued.
3.3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1. All prices are in GBP (£) and inclusive of VAT, where applicable.
4.2. A deposit is required at the time of booking.
4.3. Full payment must be made before the journey unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, route changes, extra stops, parking, tolls, or congestion charges.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1. Cancellations made more than 4 Days before the scheduled pickup time: Full refund.
5.2. Cancellations made 48–72 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
5.3. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup: No refund.
5.4. “No shows” will be charged at 100% of the booking value.
5.5. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.

6. Changes to Bookings

6.1. Any requested changes (time, date, pickup location, etc.) must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
6.2. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1. Clients must ensure all passengers are ready at the agreed pickup time.
7.2. Seatbelts must be worn at all times in accordance with UK law.
7.3. Clients are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey.
7.4. Any damage to the vehicle caused by you or your party will be charged to you at cost.

8. No Alcohol, Smoking, or Vaping

8.1. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside all Precise Travel vehicles.
8.2. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted inside our vehicles.
8.3. Breaching this policy may result in immediate termination of the journey without refund.
8.4. Cleaning, repair, or other costs caused by a breach of this policy will be charged to the client.

9. Delays, Safety & Force Majeure

9.1. While we make every effort to arrive on time, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or other events beyond our control.
9.2. In the event of unavoidable delay, we will notify you as soon as possible.
9.3. We reserve the right to terminate the journey without refund if passengers behave in a dangerous, aggressive, or unlawful manner.

10. Luggage

10.1. All luggage must fit safely in the vehicle’s designated storage areas.
10.2. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
10.3. Clients must ensure all luggage is collected at the end of the journey.

11. Liability

11.1. Our liability is limited to the cost of the booked journey.
11.2. We accept no liability for missed flights, trains, or other onward connections unless directly caused by our proven negligence.
11.3. Clients must allow sufficient time for travel to avoid delays.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

12.1. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.
12.2. Personal data will only be used for booking management, service delivery, and legal compliance.
12.3. We will never sell your data to third parties.

13. Governing Law

13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
13.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
